About Us
The Long Beach Community Cat Clinic is operated by The Little Lion Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of cats and supporting the people who care for them. Every service we offer is made possible by the generosity of donors who believe that access to compassionate, affordable care should be available to every
Our goal is simple: to help our community care for the cats who depend on us—both those living in our neighborhoods and those loved in our homes.
Our Mission
At The Little Lion Foundation, our mission is to make compassionate, accessible feline care available to every cat in our community. Through our Community Cat Clinic, we are dedicated to spaying and neutering as many cats as possible to reduce the number of kittens born on the streets and entering the shelter system. We proudly offer low-cost feral cat packages and provide free spay and neuter services through our Long Beach Community Cat Project for free-roaming community cats from Long Beach, Los Alamitos, Cerritos, and Signal Hill. We also offer affordable, low-cost options for owned cats, ensuring that financial barriers never stand in the way of responsible care.
Our goal is simple: to help our community care for the cats who depend on us—both those living in our neighborhoods and those loved in our homes.
Our History
The Community Cat Clinic was established in October 2024 after years of seeing the urgent need for accessible, cat-focused veterinary services in Long Beach. As the number of free-roaming cats and shelter intakes continued to rise, The Little Lion Foundation recognized that true, sustainable change required a dedicated, feline-only clinic centered on prevention, accessibility, and community support.
Working alongside our partners and supported by community donors, we opened the doors to a clinic built for impact—one that offers high-volume spay and neuter, preventive wellness services, and low-cost veterinary care all under one roof.
