At The Little Lion Foundation, providing access to affordable veterinary exams is essential to our mission. Many cats go without care simply because it’s too expensive or hard to access. Our low-cost exams help identify health concerns early, provide timely treatment, and ensure cats receive the care they need to live healthy, comfortable lives.
During your pet’s veterinary exam, our veterinarian will perform a comprehensive physical exam and may treat or evaluate a variety of common conditions. At this time, we do not offer X-rays; however, our veterinarian may recommend diagnostic testing such as laboratory work when appropriate.
If you are seeking prescription flea treatment, an appointment with our veterinarian is required. Following the exam, approved prescription flea prevention can be provided as a take-home treatment.

Veterinary exams require an appointment and a $20 deposit, which will be applied toward the total cost of your visit. Appointments that are not canceled at least 48 hours in advance will forfeit the deposit.
At this time, veterinary exams are offered on Thursdays only.
